hi everybody all the glitter ceiling fans this week's activity is going to be making a poster on a piece of construction paper for a summer picnic and you're going make the menu items illustrate them with the cost of them and use either mental math or a calculator to figure out the cost per student to come to the picnic and to eat so I have a sample here here's the summertime picnic menu items and again you can choose whatever food items you would like time for a hamburger for $2 potato chips for a dollar fifty a soda for $0.75 ice cream for a dollar and $0.25 and then what I want you to do is to try to add so we'll combine mathematics what kind of cross content areas with writing and even some artwork I have some small off illustrations here you could put your illustrations right next to the items you can use a calculator to figure out the total cost each student receive this food at the lake picnic how much would it cost for each student field hockey how to make a small all you need instruction paper some crayons a pencil and he later if you would choose not to be able to add yourself enough skill also to be able to use the calculator to figure out the total so we're going to be using addition here to figure out a cumulative stuff all right good luck and I'm looking to see if any of your summertime picnic man take care
